Self-employed Visiting Music Teacher – French Horn
Commencing September 2026
A space has become available for a Visiting Music Teacher (French Horn) to use the facilities at St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Prep School.
Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) are self-employed and the contract for provision of lessons is between parents and the VMT. VMT Service Agreements and arrangements for instrumental lessons are managed by the Music School Manager (MSM), Izzy Herschmann who acts as an agent in making the contractual arrangements with parents.
Currently , there will be around 4 students, with scope to increase this over the year. The teaching rate for 2026/27 will be £38.84/35-minute lesson. If you have any questions about the vacancy, please contact Izzy, Music School Manager at [email protected] .

Following your application, you may be invited to a meeting with the Music School Manager at a mutually agreed time during the week commencing Monday 15 June.
St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 7-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge.
