Lead Outpatient Nurse

The Outpatient Nurse Manager will:
- Oversee outpatient and pre-assessment services, ensuring efficient resource utilisation.
- Lead and manage a team of clinical and administrative staff, fostering a supportive environment.
- Collaborate with consultants and department heads to maintain quality standards.
- Analyse performance data to address capacity issues and meet departmental goals.
- Handle complex patient queries and complaints with professionalism.
- Contribute to business planning and implement innovative solutions.
- Develop and enforce departmental standards and policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with consultants and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.

The ideal Outpatient Manager will have:
- Experience in a similar role within the private healthcare industry.
- RGN qualification and NMC registration Essential.
- Essential experience in surgical/medical nursing and outpatient/pre-assessment.
- Strong leadership skills and clinical governance experience.
- Proficiency in clinical audits and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate manner.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and work well in a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
