We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced conference producer to join our fast-growing event series in Life Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the production of industry leading events across the US, ensuring that they drive engagement and deliver exceptional value to our attendees.

As a Senior Producer you will be expected to bring resilience, energy and creativity to the role, and possess the ability to break up the relatively quantitative elements of the content, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all attendees.

This is a highly visible, strategic role suited to a commercially minded content leader who can blend industry insight, stakeholder management, and execution excellence to drive the continued growth and authority of the Life Sciences Portfolio.

🎯 Deliver world-class events: Support the production of high-profile conferences and forums within the Life Sciences portfolio from market research and agenda development through to speaker management and onsite delivery.

🚀 Drive commercial impact: Own the development of conference programmes that underpin delegate and sponsor growth, ensuring content and speakers align with audience demand and commercial objectives.

🧠 Build market expertise: Immerse yourself in the LS landscape through research, interviews and networking, developing a strong understanding of key trends, challenges and opportunities.

🤝 Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to develop compelling speaker line ups and session formats that exceed audience expectations and deliver measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake research and analysis to determine the commercial viability of conferences within the portfolio, scaling existing products and launching new events. You will support the portfolio’s growth and future path.

• Collaborate with industry experts and thought leaders to develop engaging agendas.

• Develop ideas for creative digital content to support commercial campaign.

• Identify and recruit high-profile speakers and moderators. Create deep-industry relationships, with desire to understand organisational structures, business cycles, and needs.

• Work with the marketing lead to identify appropriate marketing channels and to ensure that the correct market segments are reached.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotion strategies.

• Identify potential sponsors and work with the Commercial Partnerships Manager to agree on the sales plan for your event campaign.

• Work with speakers, consultants, journalists, and other information providers to source and repurpose materials for content marketing.

• Build the identity and create buzz around each event with the marketer in the build-up to and during a conference through social media including LinkedIn.

• Develop and manage budgets for each conference, ensuring financial goals are met.

• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Manage onsite delivery of the event being sure to gain feedback from all those attending, to help improve positioning, content development and direction of that event as well as any ideas for spin-off/related topics.

• Actively participate in designing and delivering training for the production team and assume a mentor role for junior producers.

Skills and Experience

• Graduated/graduating with a 2:1 or above with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in B2B Events.

• You will be analytical, commercially minded and dynamic.

• You will be able to articulate and present complex information in an engaging and simple way.

• Great communication skills both written and verbal. English Fluency; right to work in the UK.

• Ability to write crisp engaging copy for a technical/scientific audiences.

• Highly organised, methodical, and process-driven.

• High level of attention to detail.
