Early Life and Retention CRM Executive
Job title: Early Life & Retention CRM Executive
Location: London
Overview of the role:
The Early Life & Retention CRM Executive will be a pivotal role in the Betfair International CRM team. This team has the ambition to be the most progressive and effective CRM team in the group. We will create innovative solutions across international geographies, that drive value both for customers and the organisation through best-in-class automated communications that bring the brand to life in a way that is personalised to customers’ preferences, lifestages and the actions that we want them to take.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
What you’ll do:
Reporting directly to the Early Life & Retention CRM Manager, you will support the Manager to:
Collaborate with our commercial colleagues to ensure that their briefs are understood, prioritised and planned in ways that are efficient, effective and appropriate to the scale of potential return.
Deliver and execute personalised marketing to engage and retain customers, ensuring they stay with us longer, play with us more and recommend us.
Stretch the capabilities of our targeting and creative technology, to ensure customers have a best in class experience with us, no matter where in the world they are.
Ensure that the needs of each region are met within the guardrails of a scalable approach to communications, repurposing and adapting rather than reinventing and duplicating.
This individual will also work closely with Planning, Creation & Innovation, Data Deployment, Digital, Brand, Data Privacy & Commercial teams, balancing competing priorities and management of the contact strategy for our customers who are in life.
What you’ll bring:
Candidates should have prior experience working in CRM and creative development environments, ideally with Email Service Providers and CRM systems.
Familiarity with tools like Movable Ink or similar dynamic content platforms (a bonus!).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — you're confident translating complex requirements into clear creative and data briefs.
A sharp eye for compelling copy and well-designed content — you know how to tell a story that inspires action.
Working knowledge of basic email HTML and JavaScript for building and troubleshooting templates.
You're data-literate and analytical — comfortable using performance insights to improve future campaigns.
A sound understanding of GDPR and compliance requirements, with an ability to confidently navigate regulated environments.
A mindset geared toward continuous improvement — you look for ways to work smarter, streamline processes, and reduce manual effort wherever possible.
Above all, you put the customer experience at the heart of everything you do.
It’s ok if you don’t think you tick every box on this list. We love people who want to challenge themselves and are passionate about what they do. If you believe you can contribute in some areas and are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.
Why choose us:
Aside from a generous base salary, we have a fantastic benefits & rewards program that is designed to encourage personal and career development.
Discretionary annual performance bonus
30 days paid leave
Health and dental insurance for you, your partner and your children (if you all live at the same address)
Personal life insurance and income protection
The option to join our company pension scheme
A personal interest allowance to let you learn something new or pursue a hobby
External learning support of up to £2,000 or equivalent in local currency, dedicated 4 learning “Power Hours” every month during office time, full access to the Udemy and Mindtools platforms, in-house leadership program and many other training opportunities for developing your skills and progressing your career
Looking to extend your family? You will receive a cash gift of £1,000 for your new addition whilst working for us
26 weeks primary carer leave at 100% pay & 4 weeks secondary carer leave pay at 100% pay
Online Discount Scheme, including discounted shopping and cinema vouchers
