After-school Nanny in Kensington, Job ID J21F60
A lovely family based in Kensington, London, is seeking an experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their preschool-aged and school-aged children.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English and Swedish. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, and engaging who can support the children's daily routines while helping them develop their Swedish language skills. Someone who enjoys planning fun and educational activities and assisting with homework would be well suited to this role.
The nanny will be responsible for ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development after school. Duties will include school pick-ups, implementing consistent routines, organising age-appropriate activities, supporting homework, and encouraging the children to communicate in Swedish through everyday interactions.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Any 3 days per week, 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, for a total of 12 hours per week.
Duties include:
- caring for preschool-aged and school-aged children
- ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
- establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
- organising and participating in fun and educational activities
- helping the children with their homework
- supporting the children's Swedish language development through daily interaction
- creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment
The family is looking for someone who can start on 7th September 2026.
