Afterschool Nanny in Blackheath, Job ID J22216
A lovely family based in Blackheath, London, is looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their baby and school-age child. Someone caring, engaging, and proactive would be ideal for this role. The nanny will be responsible for school-age childcare, including supporting the child's safety, well-being, and development, organising age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, and maintaining a consistent routine. The role will also include preparing meals and keeping the child's areas clean and organised. A Mandarin speaker is a bonus.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 15:30 to 18:30
Duties include:
- ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
- supporting the children's daily routine
- organising interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings
- helping with homework and educational activities
- reading with the children and encouraging early literacy
- bathing and maintaining the children's hygiene
- preparing nutritious meals and snacks
- keeping the children's bedroom and play areas clean and organised
The family is looking for someone who can start immediately.
