Duration: 29th September 2024 (potential to be extended, service dependent)
Hours: Full-time, 09:00AM – 17:30PM, Monday – Friday
Rate: £34 – £39 per hour
About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8a Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in London. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, running until the end of September 2024, with the potential for extension based on service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
You will provide expert pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. You will deliver ward-based services, ensuring optimal medication management and patient safety. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care. You will offer specialized knowledge and support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience/Knowledge:
- Up to date GPhC registration.
- Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
- Proven hospital experience is essential.
- ICU experience is highly desirable.
- Proven history of hospital experience, with a strong emphasis on ward-based services.
- Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
