Location: Chessington, Surrey
Pay: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy landscaping and building materials supplier in Chessington.

The business supplies a wide range of products, including timber, fencing, paving, decorative aggregates and decking to trade and retail customers.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and can help keep the yard running smoothly.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

*

Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.

*

Loading and unloading deliveries and customer collections.

*

Moving and organising stock around the yard and storage areas.

*

Handling a variety of landscaping and building materials, including timber, fencing and aggregates.

*

Maintaining a tidy, organised and safe working environment.

*

Assisting with general yard duties when required.

*

Providing friendly and helpful service to customers and delivery drivers.

What We're Looking For

*

Previous counterbalance forklift experience.

*

A valid, recognised counterbalance forklift training certificate.

*

A strong awareness of health and safety.

*

A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

*

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*

Experience working in a builders' merchant, timber yard or landscaping supplies business would be an advantage.

Working Hours

*

Monday to Friday: 7:00 am start.

*

Every other Saturday: 4–5 hours.
