Drayman / Delivery Driver
Location: South West London
Pay Rate: £15.46 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and physically fit Drayman to join our client's busy distribution team in South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver who enjoys staying active and providing great customer service.
The Role of Drayman
- Safely loading, transporting, and unloading alcoholic beverages, including heavy kegs and cases.
- Completing scheduled, multi-drop deliveries and collections across the region accurately and on time.
- Checking orders against delivery notes, ensuring correct quantities, and obtaining customer signatures.
- Conducting routine vehicle checks and ensuring your vehicle is kept secure, clean, and roadworthy.
- Providing courteous and professional customer service at every drop.
- Occasional warehouse duties, including stock movement and assisting with loading.
Requirements
- A full, valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- Excellent physical fitness-this role requires the safe, regular manual handling of heavy kegs and boxes.
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or transport (experience handling drinks or FMCG is highly advantageous).
- A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility regarding working hours, as early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required.
