Job Title: Social Worker - Assessment and Safeguarding Location: Haringey
Pay Rate: £32.52 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker for its client’s Assessment and Safeguarding Team based in Haringey.

This role involves protecting vulnerable individuals from abuse and neglect, coordinating safeguarding enquiries, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and statutory guidance.

• Professional Social Work Service : Deliver a high-quality social work service, fulfilling statutory duties related to safeguarding adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
• Safeguarding Enquiries : Lead and coordinate multi-agency Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, ensuring a person-centred approach aligned with the Care Act and Making Safeguarding Personal principles.
• Develop and Review Plans : Create and review safeguarding adult protection plans tailored to the individual’s needs and preferences.
• Collaboration : Work collaboratively with partner agencies, stakeholders, and professionals to support positive outcomes and reduce risks for vulnerable individuals.
• Case Management : Manage duty responsibilities and a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records using social care electronic systems.
• Communication : Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, families, and agencies to ensure a coordinated safeguarding response.
• Continuous Professional Development : Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to enhance practice standards and personal competencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
