Java Python Developer – Equity derivs Hedge Fund

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Java Python Developer to join our high profile client in their main development team.

Our client is one of the largest Quant Investment managers globally, with around £20 billion under management. They are mainly quant based but have High frequency and systematic exposure. The role sits with the trading team on the bleeding edge of technology as well as execution.

The Equity Derivatives tech team looks after Market Data, Pricing & Risk for Equity Derivative Portfolio Managers. It is made up of Developers & Quants, covering our PM’s globally. Due to recent growth, we are looking for an additional developer to help with the greenfield development and enhancement.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the development and enhancement of its distributed pricing platform.
• Ensure Pricing provides continuous, uninterrupted, firm wide risk and P&L.
• Work closely with other global Equity research, Tech teams, Middle Office and Trading.
• Building new Equity analytics library and integrating it into the existing system, using latest technologies.

Java Python Developers Must Ideally Have:

• Previous experience programming in Java Spring Boot, ideally Python too
• Equity Derivatives or Pure Equites experience
• Redis Enterprise
• SQL knowledge: SQL Server, Postgress
• Docker
• AWS
