As a Director, you will combine deep Economic crime expertise with senior client leadership, commercial development and practice building. • Leading complex, multi-workstream Economic crime programmes from strategy and design through to implementation
  • Advising clients on regulatory expectations, emerging threats, leading practice and the practical design of proportionate controls
  • Overseeing assessments of Economic crime frameworks and translating findings into prioritised remediation plans and roadmaps
  • Shaping technology-enabled transformation across KYC, transaction monitoring, screening, investigations and case management
  • Defining and growing market-relevant propositions, thought leadership and go-to-market activity
  • Raising the visibility of Baringa's Economic crime capability through senior client conversations, industry engagement and external market presence
  • Leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams while maintaining a strong focus on quality, inclusion and client outcomes
  • Working collaboratively across Baringa's sectors and capabilities to bring the best of the firm to clients and create broader opportunities
  • Contributing to the strategic direction, commercial performance and leadership of the wider Risk & Compliance practice

Your skills and experience

  • Credibility with executive stakeholders, including CROs, CCOs, MLROs and senior operational and technology leaders
  • Demonstrable experience originating and converting consulting opportunities and developing long-term client accounts
  • Experience shaping propositions, campaigns, thought leadership or new capability areas in response to market demand
  • Strong commercial judgement, including the ability to manage delivery quality, client outcomes and engagement economics
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coaching senior consultants and future leaders
  • An understanding of Economic crime technology platforms, data requirements and vendor solutions commonly used across regulated firms
