Your key responsibilities
You will be required to work independently with our customers to analyse their requirements, design, and implement solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform; often without the guidance of a Project Manager.
Your responsibilities
- Influence customers to design, implement and deploy advanced Microsoft Power Platform solutions in a variety of sectors.
- Mentor more junior members of the team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Create project related documentation, including Functional and Technical design specifications.
- Capture key requirements and Product Backlog Items (PBIs) in Azure Dev Ops
- Train customers on the usage and administration of the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Build relationships with our customers in order to maintain communication and manage their expectations in regard to product functionality and delivery.
- Accurately estimate for delivery of solutions.
- Partake in pre-sales activity as required.
- Traveling to customer sites to conduct workshops with key stakeholders and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with the team in office spaces
- Identify opportunities for further work with existing customers and work with the Sales team to develop them.
- Work closely with Sales, Managed Services and the PMO teams.
- Ensure timely completion of timesheets to ensure for accurate project billing and reporting
- Staying up to date with latest developments in M365
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Previous experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform, preferably in a consulting role.
- A specialist in Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate.
- Strong experience in developing and delivering Power Apps for customers using SharePoint Online and/or Dataverse at a minimum.
- Strong experience in developing and delivering Power Automate flows for customers, both stand-alone and as part of a wider Power App solution.
- Development experience with REST services, Microsoft Azure, and coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON.
- Knowledge and experience around the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Ability to design and develop wireframes and implement UI designs.
- Understands and is able to discuss Power Apps and Automate premium connectors/licences.
- A passion for the Power Platform technologies and it’s potential to improve the digital capabilities of organisations.
- The ability to communicate with, influence and manage customer expectations.
- Experience of requirements gathering and business process mapping.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good general IT skills with varied experience of different virtual environments.
- The ability to work independently and within a team.
Desirable skillset
- Knowledge of the other Microsoft 365 applications and experience delivering modern workplace solutions (SharePoint Online, Teams).
- Achieved Microsoft certifications in Power Platform (PL-900, PL-200).
- Knowledge of the other Power Platform applications such as Power Bi and Power Virtual Agents.
- Understands other Power App opportunities such as Dynamics 365/Model-Driven apps.
- Knowledge around relational database designs and concepts.
- Power App Component Framework (PCF).
- Power Apps AI.
- Power Apps Centre of Excellence (CoE).
- Azure automation.
- Power Platform Cloud Gateway.
- Other available data sources/connectors (SQL, Oracle, SAP, etc).
