Senior Solicitor / Associate – Private Client (Team Lead)

Are you a Private Client solicitor ready to step into a leadership role and make a real impact? A leading and ambitious Scottish law firm is looking to appoint a Private Client solicitor at Senior Solicitor or Associate level to support the continued growth of their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable lawyer with 3–4 years’ PQE who has experience supervising others or is ready to take on that responsibility.

You’ll manage your own varied caseload while also playing a key role in mentoring junior colleagues and supporting the strategic development of the team. The role will involve a broad range of private client matters, including:

• Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
• Advising on estate planning and inheritance tax matters
• Executries and estate administration
• Trusts and asset protection
• Guardianships and Adults with Incapacity work

About You

• A qualified solicitor with 3–4 years’ PQE in private client work
• Some experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior staff – or a strong desire to move into this
• Excellent client care skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, collaborative mindset
