SEN Teacher - Harrow - PMLD - Full Time - Trialling after May half term

A specialist school in Harrow is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, with trials taking place after May half term.

This opportunity in Harrow would suit an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education within Harrow. The school teaches pupils with a range of complex learning needs including autism, communication difficulties, developmental delay and additional medical needs.

The successful SEN Teacher in Harrow will join a well-resourced environment with excellent facilities and a multi-disciplinary approach to education. Staff work alongside therapists, teaching assistants and families to help pupils achieve their academic and social potential.

The Role:

Full-time SEN Teacher position
Based in Harrow
Trial days available after May half term
Teaching pupils with additional needs including ASD, severe learning difficulties and communication needs
Creating engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP targets
Working alongside teaching assistants and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience within SEN or a strong interest in specialist education
Passion for teaching and learning
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
