The Company

Csr are working with a Leading NI Fit-Out firm based in Belfast in their search for an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to Join their team. The company have been established for over 40 years and in that time they have established themselves as one of the leading companies in their field not only in NI but in the Rest of the UK and ROI.

They boast an impressive Portfolio showcasing the most luxurious high end retail, hospitality, stadia and airport projects to name a few, executing the most challenging & creative briefs for their clients.

The Role

The Role will require weekly UK travel as it will be predominately Site Based.

The following Responsibilities are to be expected:-

• Establish contract budgets from tender estimates and management of same throughout the contract including :
• Preliminaries costs
• Labour Costs
• Material allowances monitoring

• Ensure the issuing of sub-contract packages and monitoring of these during the contract in conjunction with the contracts manager.
• Ensure the completion of monthly cost value reconciliation reports including cost and value accruals and report same to Quantity Surveyor Manager.
• Ensure the preparation of interim applications for payment ( where applicable)
• Ensure the monitoring, measuring, quantifying and valuing of variations on the contract.
• Ensure the preparation of final accounts expediently after works completion.
• To make effective use of your communication, planning, negotiating, influencing, analytical, problem solving skills and organizational skills
• Other duties as directed by the Commercial Director

The Person

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have minimum post graduate experience in main building/fit out sectors and be willing to be site based.

• Third Level Degree in a relevant construction discipline
• Good communication skills
• Have the desire and determination to progress
