Bus Driver and School Bus Support Roles

We’re seeking a reliable and safety-focused Home to School Driver to join our team. As one of the first people students see each morning and one of the last each afternoon, you’ll play a vital role in creating positive experiences for students and families.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school as part of designated routes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure journeys run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with transport regulations.
• Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or safeguarding concerns promptly.
• Provide friendly, professional, and reassuring service to students, families, and colleagues.
• Support the ongoing safety, compliance, and day-to-day operation of the transport service.

Requirements

• Full UK driving license held for a minimum of 24 months required.
• Driver CPC qualification and valid CPC card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A flexible approach to working split shifts.
• Experience within a transport, driving or customer-facing role.
• A commitment to safeguarding, safety, and delivering excellent customer service.
• A calm, professional, and dependable approach with the ability to build positive relationships with students and families.

Working Conditions

This role involves driving split shifts, typically between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday during term time. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transportation for our students.
