What you'll do:

As an ETF Reconciliations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of all ETF-related processes within the London office. Your day-to-day activities will involve acting as the go-to expert for all things related to ETF operations offering guidance not only to your immediate team but also to investment managers and external partners. You will be responsible for overseeing relationships with key service providers and authorised participants while continuously seeking ways to strengthen operational models. Your commitment to delivering outstanding client service will be demonstrated through meticulous record-keeping and proactive issue resolution. By leveraging advanced reconciliation tools and your strong IT acumen, you will contribute significantly to process improvements. Success in this role will come from your ability to collaborate effectively across teams, communicate complex information simply, and maintain high standards under tight deadlines-all within an environment that values learning and flexibility.

* Serve as the subject matter expert for ETF operational processes, providing comprehensive oversight across all workflows impacted by ETFs.* Act as the central point of contact for ETF operations, proactively supporting and guiding other operational teams, investment managers, and external parties on ETF-related matters.* Maintain active oversight of ETF service providers and authorised participants to ensure seamless operational delivery and robust controls.* Continuously review and enhance the ETF operating model with a focus on increasing its resilience and efficiency.* Deliver exceptional client service by maintaining accurate books and records while minimising reconciliation breaks across all ETF models.* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex reconciliation issues promptly and effectively.* Utilise advanced reconciliation tools to manage cash, stock, FX, CFD, ETD, Repo, OTC, and alternative assets as required.* Leverage strong IT skills to streamline processes using Excel, Tableau, and coding where beneficial.* Engage in ongoing learning to stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in ETF operations.* Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences to explain intricate concepts in an accessible manner.

What you bring:

To excel as an ETF Reconciliations Officer, you will bring proven experience from within the Active ETF sector ideally gained through hands-on operational roles involving US markets. Your background will include deep familiarity with reconciling diverse asset types using industry-standard tools such as Gresham CTC. You will have honed your ability to navigate complex workflows involving multiple custodians while applying advanced IT skills including data analysis via Excel or Tableau to drive efficiencies. Your approach is marked by curiosity, proactivity, and resilience; you thrive when collaborating across teams or tackling challenging problems head-on. Clear communication comes naturally to you-whether explaining technical details or supporting colleagues and your commitment to ongoing development ensures you remain at the forefront of industry best practice.

* A minimum of three years' experience working within the Active ETF space from an operations perspective, ideally including exposure to US markets.* Demonstrated expertise in reconciling various asset types with particular strength in Active ETF reconciliation or similar roles within financial services.* Proven knowledge of front-to-back Active ETF workflows as well as alternative assets or custom reconciliation solutions.* Familiarity with multiple reconciliation tools; experience with Gresham CTC is advantageous but not essential.* Experience dealing with multiple custodians and navigating their website portals efficiently.* Advanced IT skills including proficiency in Excel and Tableau; some coding experience would be beneficial for process automation.* Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive analytical mindset that drives continuous improvement.* A passion for ongoing learning coupled with resilience and flexibility to meet project goals within agreed deadlines or SLA targets.* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills enabling you to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
