ITV is the biggest commercial television network in the UK, broadcasting some of the most talked about television programmes across the globe. Our ITV Commercial team is responsible for bringing in the £1.9bn worth of advertising that helps fund ITV's programming.

The role..

As the Commercial Sales Assistant, you will be supporting the Sales Executive to help book and administer advertising campaigns for our impressive portfolio of clients. The adverts you work on will be delivered through a variety of channels and seen by a vast audience.

Based in our internal sales team, the role offers variety, from monitoring target price and efficiency perimeters, to keeping an eye on booking and copy deadlines to ensure ITV Plc meets its commitments to our advertisers.

As this role is primarily desk based, you will need to be comfortable working in an office environment. We offer progression in the Commercial Sales department therefore your commitment in this role will be the key to your success in developing your career at ITV.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

• Minimum maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent is essential
• Experience within a sales/customer service environment

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

• A desire to develop a career in commercial sales at ITV
• Highly motivated with an ability to prioritise and work well under pressure to ensure all deadlines are met
• You will be able to communicate at all levels within the business to build internal and external relationships.
• Ideally you will have a passion for the media industry, ITV, what we do and how we do it
• You will be a strong team player, working with others to deliver results and seek support where needed
• Excellent customer service skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong ability with numerical data, maths and reviewing data on excel (training provided)
• Understanding the importance of working collaboratively & independently
• You will be a confident user of google suite or microsoft office
• Any qualifications in Media or Advertising is desirable but not essential

This role is admin/office based and would not suit applicants pursuing a production environment.
