Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Automation Team, designing and developing innovative automation solutions that align with product team requirements. You will stay abreast of AI/ML advancements to inform design decisions, develop comprehensive test strategies, and contribute to multiple initiatives. Your work will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery. Collaboration will be essential, as you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and timely project completion. You will also play a vital role in communicating project status and progress, presenting findings and demonstrating new features and MVPs.
This is a 12 months, hybrid contract, offering up to £101k per annum, pro rata (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates by COB Friday 5th Sept. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.
Responsibilities:
- Independently design and develop automation solutions using Python, focusing on operational support systems and automation.
- Lead code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Develop and implement user interfaces using JavaScript and React.
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Python, managing APIs, and integrating third-party services.
- Design and manage databases in Postgres, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Build and deploy AI/ML solutions, including Agentic systems, MCP servers/clients, and RAG systems with LLMs.
- Perform ETL processes and build vector databases with embedding models.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts for both existing and new features.
- Create detailed test reports documenting progress, status, and identified defects.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional meetings.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience designing and developing operational support systems and automation solutions in Python.
- Experience leading code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and iOS functional automation.
- Experience with testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and React for front-end development.
- Experience with Python for back-end development, API management, and third-party service integration.
- Experience with Postgres database design and management.
- Expertise in building and deploying AI/ML solutions, including Agentic systems, MCP servers/clients, and RAG systems with LLMs.
- Experience with ETL processes and building vector databases.
- Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Experience with application performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience building multi-agent systems and understanding of multi-agent design patterns.
- Graph database knowledge.
- Proficiency with Charles, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience automating data analytics and reporting.
- Strong understanding of software build tools and CI/CD integrations.
- Experience coordinating with multiple engineering and product teams.
