SEN Teaching Assistant - Inclusive Primary School in...
A vibrant and forward-thinking primary school in Islington is seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs across Key Stages 1 and 2. This role is ideal for a dedicated individual who is passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful contribution to pupil development.

Role Responsibilities
Provide targeted SEN support under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo
Deliver structured interventions and adapt learning materials where necessary
Support pupils with communication difficulties, sensory needs, and emotional regulation
Assist with transitions between activities and lessons
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Build trusting relationships with pupils to support learning and wellbeing
Candidate Requirements
Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASC and SEMH
A calm, professional, and patient approach
Strong organisational and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to pupil needs
