As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant , you will join a dynamic department that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. You will work closely with experienced teachers, providing support across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and A-Level , helping students build confidence in core STEM subjects.
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant: Your Role
As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and challenging lessons across your subject area
- Provide 1:1 and small group intervention sessions to help students master complex concepts and improve their understanding
- Assist with practical experiments, lab work, and demonstrations, ensuring a safe and exciting learning experience
- Help with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom organisation
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification
KPi Education are seeking a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant who matches the following criteria:
- Holds a 2:1 or above in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from a top university (Russell Group desirable)
- Has strong academic credentials in STEM at A-Level and GCSE
- Is passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced school environment
- Has ambitions to progress into teaching, academia, or a STEM-related profession
Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided .
