Global People Business Partner -Technology

We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of Global People Business Partner -Technology.
The Global People Business Partner -Technology leads the development and execution of people strategies aligned with Global Group Chief Information Officer organisation and Infrastructure people priorities.
This role reports to the Head of People, Technology and partners with GCIO Leadership Team and their DRs to embed organisational change, inclusive culture and colleague well-being, delivering strong business performance and a positive colleague experience.
In this role, you will: -
- Lead development and execution of people strategies aligned with GCIO, Infrastructure and Group people strategy.
- Provide expertise in organisational design, effectiveness and strategic workforce planning, by leveraging skills and experience in talent development, leadership development and deployment.
- Partner specific members of GCIO LT mostly UK based, and their Executive committees on strategic and critical people strategy and priorities articulating the importance of the people agenda in delivering positive culture, well-being and strong business performance.
- Identify areas of continuous improvement and co-ordinates the capabilities and capacity required to deliver superior outcomes.
- Lead a team in a large scale multi-national and commercial environment.
- Develop, coach and mentor key senior GCIO talent with a focus on UK location strategy.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: -
- Previous experience in a senior People Partner or Head of People role at a management level in a large scale multi-national and commercial environment.
- Previous experience in Technology based businesses, with an understanding of the Technology landscape.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels, exceptional communication skills and ability to navigate and influence across the organisational matrix and conflicting priorities.
- Proven experience of delivering a proactive People partnering and designing and implementing a people strategy to enable business objectives.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver people transformation and change in a large scale and complex business with significant offshore presence across multiple sites and geographies. Translating complexity and ambiguity into impactful delivery.
- Strong coaching, facilitation and consultancy skills with a proven track record of being able to influence at all levels and especially the Executive level.
The base location for this role will be London or Sheffield and with a hybrid working pattern.
