A well-established and highly regarded primary school in Wandsworth is currently seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their team. This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start, offering a great opportunity to lead a nurturing and dynamic nursery team while contributing to the development of young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery room, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children in your care.
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and child-centered activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Mentor and support a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Track and assess children’s progress through observation and tailored support, ensuring each child achieves their full potential.
- Establish strong relationships with parents and carers, offering regular updates on children’s development and wellbeing.
- Ensure a safe, well-organized, and clean learning environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Qualifications : Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g., Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent).
- Experience : Previous experience as a Nursery Room Leader or in a leadership role within a nursery setting is essential.
- Skills : Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to inspire and support a team.
