Your mission

As part of CALM's small, multi-skilled Product Team, you will lead the development, optimisation and delivery of digital products that support our mission and improve the experience for fundraisers, service users, supporters, subscribers and other audiences. You will manage products across CALM's digital portfolio - including the website, mobile app, chatbot and CRM - and bring proven experience in both website (desktop and mobile) and mobile app product management.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Delivery
  • Deliver the product strategy, as defined by the Senior Product Manager.
  • Own the optimisation of CALM’s products, optimising user experience, accessibility, and performance.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritise product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Define user stories with acceptance criteria and guide development teams through delivery.
  • Manage products through all stages of the lifecycle: discovery, design, development, launch, optimisation, and iteration.
User Experience & Insight
  • Act as a UX lead mapping and optimising user journeys across web and mobile, ensuring they are intuitive, inclusive, and insight-led.
  • Generate user insights through research, usability testing, and data analysis, and translate findings into actionable improvements.
  • Champion user-centred design and accessibility best practices across all products.
  • Collaborate with researchers, designers, developers, and agencies to ensure excellent UX and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements/ ideas, align priorities, and report progress.
  • Act as a translator between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Promote a data-driven, test-and-learn culture across teams.
  • Ensure that all digital products are strategically aligned and deliver maximum impact for CALM audiences.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor and analyse product performance using data, analytics, and feedback loops.
  • Drive a culture of continuous optimisation across CALM’s digital portfolio.
  • Keep up-to-date with product management best practices, trends, and innovations, bringing insights and application into CALM.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years in product preferably managing both web and mobile products through the full product lifecycle.
  • Hands-on website management experience (CMS ownership, optimisation, UX improvements).
  • Strong UX background with experience leading user journey mapping, defining user stories, and ensuring inclusive, accessible design.
  • Excellent ability to work across teams and with external partners (designers, developers, agencies).
  • Strong analytical skills, using data and research to inform decisions.
  • Confident communicator and stakeholder manager, able to champion product thinking across CALM.
  • Desirable Skills & Experience
    Experience with helpline products such as telephony systems, WhatsApp, or AWS webchat.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and product management in this context.
  • Experience working in an environment where time-management, prioritisation and adaptability are key.
  • Awareness of the not-for-profit or charity sector, or experience working with diverse user groups.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Benefits:Â Unlimited annual leave, Healthcare cash plan, 6% pension contribution, therapeutic services (after completion of probation), hybrid working & nine day fortnight
Based: London Waterloo twice a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) / Remote Working (Mon, Tues & Fri), 9.30am - 5.30pm.
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum. We benchmark our salaries to ensure our pay structure remains fair, transparent, and equitable for everyone in our team.
