SAP Funds & Grants Business Analyst

We're supporting a major finance transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP Funds & Grants specialist Business Analyst to play a key role in the design and delivery of future SAP solutions.

Location: London. Hybrid working.
Contract: 5 Month Initial Contract
Rate: Competitive Day Rate

This opportunity is ideal for someone with deep SAP Funds Management and Grants Management expertise who can bridge the gap between business and technology teams, driving requirements, solution design and best practice across complex finance environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the SME for SAP Funds Management and Grants Management.
• Lead business and functional requirements gathering workshops.
• Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support fit gap analysis and future state solution design.
• Work closely with finance, technology and architecture teams.
• Provide input into SAP S/4HANA transformation activities.
• Ensure solutions align with business, reporting and compliance requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Deep hands on SAP Funds Management experience.
• Deep hands on SAP Grants Management experience.
• Strong understanding of budgetary control, fund accounting and grant lifecycle management.
• Proven background delivering SAP Finance transformation programmes.
• Strong Business Analysis and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing business, functional and technical requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical SAP solutions.
• Experience working across complex enterprise environments.

Desirable

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
• SAP FI/CO knowledge.
• Experience within banking, public sector or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of integrations, reporting and data migration.
