The Work

• Deliver high-quality technical advice to a diverse range of financial sector and insurance clients.
• Drive business development and manage teams to deliver assignments.
• Shape and deliver the national sector strategy for our Financial Services VAT offering.
• Prepare for new client opportunities and pitches using market intelligence and sector knowledge.
• Lead on proposal documents for new opportunities and help convert them.
• Build an external network, developing strong relationships with clients and key market constituents.

What You Need

• Significant experience in the financial services, insurance, and/or asset management sector.
• Excellent client relationship-building skills, combined with curiosity to understand clients' business strategy.
• Execution capacity, technical excellence, BD focus, and strategy.
• Experience acting as a key point of contact for other firms with Financial Services VAT opportunities.
• CTA qualified (or equivalent).

Desirable

• Experience in VAT advisory work within the Financial Services sector.
• Proven track record of building business and leading teams.
• Good understanding of the industry, key sector trends, and key players in the market.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
• Demonstrable project management skills and ability to work toward demanding timetables.
• Track record of building enduring relationships with clients through repeat work.
