Librarian
An Outstanding secondary school in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Librarian to manage and develop their school library. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about reading, literacy and supporting student learning in a dynamic school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the library, including managing book stock, organising resources and creating a welcoming and engaging space for students. You will support students in selecting appropriate reading materials, promote a culture of reading for pleasure and assist with research and study skills.
You will also work closely with teaching staff to support the curriculum, organise reading initiatives and events, and contribute to literacy development across the school. Strong organisational skills and the ability to engage and inspire students are essential.
The role requires excellent communication skills, creativity and a proactive approach. Experience working in a library or educational setting would be advantageous.
