Business Studies Teacher – Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons in line with the relevant curriculum.

• Use real-world business examples and case studies to support learning.

• Develop students' analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Prepare pupils for relevant GCSE and, where applicable, A-level assessments.

• Encourage students to evaluate business strategies and commercial decisions.

• Differentiate lessons to accommodate different abilities and learning needs.

• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.

• Encourage discussion of current business developments and economic issues.

• Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
