Afternoon Nanny, Job ID J1DE0D
This lovely family in Kensington, London, is looking for an After-school Nanny to take care of their 2 school-aged children. All general Nanny duties are required in this role. Collect the children from school, which is a 15-minute walk from the family’s home. Engage the children in age-appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, or outdoor play. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Friday 3:15 pm to 6:15 pm
Duties include:
- Making sure the children are up early in the morning
- Washing and dressing them, and preparing a healthy breakfast and snacks
- Helping with homework, school assignments, and reading practice
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, messy play, or outdoor play
- Preparing recreational activities that support the children’s physical and mental development
- Taking them to parks, playgrounds, and after-school activities
- Preparing and serving healthy snacks after school and assisting with dinner preparation
- Feeding the children and helping with the bedtime routine
- Tidying up after the children, ensuring their bedrooms and play areas are kept clean and organised
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for the children
