Interim Assistant Director
Interim Assistant Director needed in South West London Paying £650 per day ref OR111824
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the borough’s Education Strategy and Inclusion agenda.
- Oversee SEND, Educational Psychology, Virtual School, outreach and inclusion services.
- Ensure sufficient, high-quality school places through effective pupil place planning and admissions management.
- Lead Fair Access, alternative provision, attendance and exclusion reduction strategies.
- Drive school improvement, educational performance and outcomes for vulnerable children.
- Manage significant budgets, resources and commissioned services.
- Lead service improvement, transformation and inspection readiness (Ofsted/CQC).
- Build strong partnerships with schools, MATs, health partners, the voluntary sector and neighbouring authorities.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders, elected members and partners.
