This role will sit within the Land and New Homes Department reporting to Head of Land and New Homes. The candidate will be meticulous, highly professional and experienced with a thorough understanding of the Land and New Homes market.
About the Role
The New Homes Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing and maximising successful and long-lasting business relationships with existing and new clients, providing an excellent service overseeing all new developments.
- Maintaining regular contact with existing and new clients, providing quality client care, marketing updates and feedback on our new developments, noting all correspondence and communications on the RPS database.
- Identifying new development business opportunities and making contact with the developers to arrange meetings.
- Pitching to developer clients and funders to win new business.
- Responding swiftly to branch referrals and working closely with the Land team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Providing pricing proposals and researching suitable comparable evidence to support the advice given.
- Working proactively with branches that hold new development stock on local marketing strategies which will generate leads and drive viewings.
- Managing online portal displays to ensure our listings are professionally presented, eye catching and regularly updated.
- Arranging, and conducting viewings.
- Qualifying and negotiating offers.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly targets for new listings, agreed sales, and exchanges.
- Carrying out necessary AML processes and maintaining full compliance to the company standard.
- Building effective and productive relationships across the whole branch network
- Working collaboratively across all departments and referring business as appropriate.
Skills and experience:
The New Homes Manager will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in New Homes with a proven track record of success.
- Suitable knowledge of the legislation and regulations relevant to New Homes.
- Self-motivated and results driven.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- A professional, ambitious, and enthusiastic approach with a desire to grow the department.
- The ability to work on your own as well as in a team.
- The ability to build rapport and develop long standing relationships.
- The capability of working effectively to deadlines, under pressure and in a fast-changing environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Full and clean driving licence
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite, Outlook and LandInsight or similar.
