The Work

• Act as a key worker, oversee daily practice, and ensure care plans are met
• Lead and mentor staff, organise work patterns, and maintain compliance standards
• Manage placement plans, respond to safeguarding concerns, and coordinate external services
• Contribute to quality assurance, inspections, and household upkeep
• Support the home's 24/7 operation and maintain safe, consistent care
• Assist with managing the home's budget and general administration tasks

What You Need

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in residential childcare
• Children's Workforce Diploma or equivalent qualification in the children's sector
• Ability to work with young people with complex needs
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks

Desirable

• Experience of working in a senior role within residential childcare
• Experience of working with young people with specific needs (e.g., autism, ADHD)
