Your Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect with deep domain expertise in insurance , particularly within the London Market and specialty insurance sectors. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures, including medallion architecture , across cloud platforms such as AWS , Databricks , and Snowflake .

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures , with a focus on medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers).
• Lead the development of data pipelines , data lakes , and data warehouses using AWS , Databricks , and Snowflake .
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all data platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance for integrating Salesforce , CRM systems , and Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
• Support data needs for underwriting , claims , and policy administration processes.
• Drive best practices in data modeling, metadata management, and data quality assurance.

Your Profile:

• Over 8 years of experience in data architecture, including 3+ years specifically within the insurance industry.
• Deep understanding of London Market and specialty insurance operations, including end-to-end data flows.
• Proven hands-on expertise with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lambda, as well as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Skilled in designing and optimizing medallion architecture for scalable and efficient data processing.
• Strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries.
• Proficient in ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and implementing robust data integration strategies.
• Familiar with Salesforce and other CRM platforms, enabling seamless data connectivity and insights.
• Solid understanding of underwriting and claims processes within the insurance domain.
• Experience with Guidewire products, adding value to core insurance system integrations.
• Bonus capabilities include real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), machine learning workflow integration, and familiarity with modern data architecture concepts like data mesh and data fabric.
