Emphasis on leading internal research has always been part of our history which goes back over 35 years. Climate change and climate transition issues are increasingly complex meaning investors need solutions and advice that address the important practical transition questions they are grappling with. These questions are as pertinent as ever and, we believe, will become more pronounced over time as the transition progresses and asset owners are required to weigh emerging trade-offs. We are in a strong position to help investors - driving financial solutions and enabling investor actions that manage climate-related financial risk and support the transition. This hybrid role requires working from the London office for at least two days per week. The Role Work closely with the team lead to deliver the transition team’s analysis of companies and sectors. Contribute to process evolution and system improvements. Take lead responsibility for research and analysis for a series of companies and sectors. Synthesise and analyse large datasets, efficiently and effectively using quantitative and business modelling tools. Effectively communicate the results and implications of our analysis to a range of external and internal audiences. Network and interact with policy makers, industry groups or other stakeholders to ensure analysis undertaken is policy relevant. Work with the wider Investment practice to design products and services to leverage the climate transition team’s analytical insights. Work with our Investment practice consulting and sustainable investing teams as a specialist to help them advise asset owners regarding exclusion policies; climate scenarios; climate metrics; company engagement guidance and progress tracking. Speak at external events, to reinforce WTW Investment’s reputation as a leading group within the investment industry for climate analysis that is focused solving the practical transition questions investors are grappling with.
