We are looking for a Property Supplier Manager to join the outsourced operations team and oversee Royal London Asset Management’s Tier 3 supplier relationships. The suppliers provide valuation, fund administration and accounting services. The primary focus of this role is to ensure effective governance and oversight monitoring, control and provision of outsourced relationships to assist in fulfilling SMF responsibilities and alignment to the Royal London Group Procurement and Supplier Management Policy.
You will be the dedicated relationship manager tasked with ensuring service levels are being reported in line with RLAM’s requirements for delivery and quality and lead regular service reviews involving the appropriate internal stakeholders from Royal London Asset Management.
This is great opportunity to manage service relationships with key suppliers to support our property function and RLAM’s ongoing operating model and growth strategy.
About the role
- Supporting business owners in delivery and issue resolution with suppliers, ensuring services meet SLAs and business needs
- Maintaining compliance with RLAM risk and regulatory frameworks
- Acting as the main audit contact and managing stakeholder communications
- Leading service reviews, overseeing SLAs and contractual updates, and ensuring budgets are met
- Reviewing commercial and contract terms, escalating issues as needed
- Supporting RLAM teams and serving as an escalation point for service concerns
About you
- Previous experience within an asset management company, ideally within a property or real estate function
- Understanding of the valuation, fund administration, and accounting services supplied by the suppliers and their role.
- Relevant relationship management experience, preferably gained from an asset management environment overseeing Outsourced Operations.
- Experience interacting with multiple departments and individuals
- Understanding of investment instruments including Property, Equity and Fixed Income.
- Very strong technical knowledge relating to the Back / Middle Office including the trade life cycle and the touch points within an Asset Manager.
