Year 3 Teacher - Isleworth

Marchant Recruitment
Hounslow, Greater London

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Isleworth, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 2 and enjoys delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

The school has a strong ethos of inclusion, collaboration, and high expectations. Staff work together to create a structured, stimulating, and nurturing environment where pupils feel confident, motivated, and valued. Senior leadership is approachable and supportive, offering mentoring, guidance, and professional development to help staff excel.

The Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will support pupils’ learning in literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects while fostering independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours. Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents, you will ensure all pupils receive consistent, personalised support.

Monitoring pupil progress, providing targeted interventions, and maintaining a positive classroom environment will be central to your role. Your contribution will help pupils consolidate core skills and develop confidence as they progress through Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum

  • Deliver engaging literacy, numeracy, and foundation subject lessons

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL

  • Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours

  • Maintain a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records

  • Provide targeted interventions to support pupil attainment

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress

  • Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives

  • Support enrichment activities, school events, and extra-curricular opportunities

  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • Be reflective, proactive, and adaptable

  • Show a strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing

  • Work effectively as part of a professional and supportive team

Location

The school is located in Isleworth, with excellent transport links and a supportive local community. Staff benefit from a professional, inclusive, and well-resourced working environment where collaboration, development, and wellbeing are prioritised.

How to Apply

To apply, please submit an up-to-date CV outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
