Compliance Support Officer

An award-winning specialist insurer, who deliver high-quality, tailored insurance solutions have a requirement for proactive and collaborative Compliance Support Officer to join their Compliance team.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you’ll help ensure operations, decisions and customer journeys meet regulatory, legal and internal standards.
This is a remote role with occasional travel to London.
You’ll play a key role in safeguarding business integrity, strengthening controls and championing best practice across the business.
- Develop and support an effective compliance monitoring programme
- Create, review and maintain internal policies and controls
- Audit processes and documents to identify risks or weaknesses
- Evaluate business activities for compliance impact
- Provide advice, support and training to teams across the business
- Collaborate with outsourced partners when needed
- Keep up to date with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and UK GDPR
- Work closely with marketing and IT to ensure compliant communications and digital activity
- Help plan for and respond to potential breaches or risks
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Experienced in compliance, risk or quality assurance — ideally within financial services
- Familiar with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and professional standards
- An excellent communicator — confident, clear and collaborative
- Highly organised, dependable and comfortable working remotely
- Ethical, curious and committed to positive customer outcomes
- Knowledgeable about data protection/UK GDPR
- CII qualifications or experience in insurance preferable
