MFL Teacher (French/German) – Champion modern language learning and cultural immersion – Barking & Dagenham
A large, inclusive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is recruiting an engaging MFL Teacher proficient in both French and German from January 2026. This role is crucial for maintaining a broad MFL offering.

You will teach French and German across KS3 and KS4(GCSE). The focus is on developing students' fluency and confidence through communicative tasks, cultural study, and authentic resource use. Opportunities are available to run the Languages Club and coordinate occasional international trips.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and proficiency in teaching both French and German to at least GCSE level
- Commitment to using the target language (TL) as the primary mode of instruction
- Familiarity with modern MFL technologies and digital learning tools
- Excellent classroom management skills suitable for a large, diverse comprehensive school
