SEND Primary Teacher of Autistic Children Required: Outer London Main Pay Range/ Upper Pay Range SEN Allowance - Autumn 2026 or Spring 2027

We have an exciting opportunity to join The Windmill School in our primary department. We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed Primary trained Teacher to deliver a range of national curriculum subjects to autistic pupils at this day special school based in High Barnet.

We welcome qualified early career teachers with experience of working with neurodiverse pupils within this age range or more experienced teachers who might be looking for an environment where they can utilise their SEND teaching skills with small groups of students in a setting which has been purposely and thoughtfully designed for learners with sensory processing and communication needs.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview in-person which will include a lesson observation with a current primary class and a written task designed to explore your current understanding of autism and effective teaching strategies for autistic pupils.
