Year 1 Teacher – Primary School, Harrow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our primary school in Harrow. We are looking for a dynamic professional to inspire and support our pupils as they continue their educational journey in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for Year 1 pupils.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to maintain a collaborative school community.
- Contribute to wider school life, including extra-curricular activities and school events.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated and inspiring teacher who:
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
- Has experience teaching at Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a commitment to safeguarding.
- Is passionate about fostering the personal and academic development of young children.
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and actively contributes to the school’s ethos and values.
