We are seeking an enthusiastic, academically driven, and committed Biology Teacher to join the thriving Science faculty at a highly regarded secondary academy in the prestigious Westminster area of Central London.

This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026 .

This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice, particularly at the A-Level , and contributing to the department's consistent record of placing students in Medicine, Dentistry, and Biological Sciences courses.

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
• A relevant degree in Biology or a closely related discipline.
• A proven track record as an excellent Biology Teacher with mandatory experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level) .
• A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
• The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
  • The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale (The Inner London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £40,317 as of September 2025).
• A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
