A leading independent Girls' School in Haringey, North London, recognised for its superb creative arts department and strong emphasis on individual expression, is seeking an experienced Teacher of Art for a Maternity Cover, Full-Time position, commencing ASAP (Immediate Start).

The Role
- The successful Teacher of Art will teach a full timetable, covering Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level Fine Art).
- The Teacher of Art is responsible for maintaining the high standards of practical and theoretical instruction within the department.
- The school expects the Teacher of Art to assist in preparing students for portfolios and university applications.
- This full-time maternity position requires an immediate start for the Teacher of Art.
- The successful Teacher of Art will also contribute to the regular displays and exhibitions held by the school.
- We require a highly skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Art to cover this period.
- The Art department is eager to secure a dedicated Teacher of Art as soon as possible.
- Candidates must be ready to assume the full responsibilities of a Teacher of Art.
Requirements
- A degree in Fine Art, Art History, or a related creative discipline.
- Proven ability to teach Art and Design to A-Level.
- Experience with portfolio preparation and different media is essential.
- Immediate availability to start or a very short notice period.
