Flexible Hours Barista, Bar & FOH

The role: The main objective of this role is to deliver the best coffee in St John’s Wood while ensuring every single customer has an outstanding experience. You will share our passion for crafting exceptional coffee experiences and be an advocate for our food and beverage operation (including preparation of barista coffee, smoothies, juices and light food preparation).You will be responsible for the presentation and initial welcome into the café, providing a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and memorable front-of-house service.

Key responsibilities:

Preparing a variety of espresso-based beverages and producing basic latte art.

Understanding and adhering to coffee brewing recipes and consistently providing quality coffee.

High attention to detail in order to follow operational procedures such as opening and closing procedures, effectively.

Greeting customers warmly and building rapport with them.

Having a good knowledge of our products and answering customer questions about the menu and all food and drink offerings with enthusiasm.

Handling payments and processing orders accurately and efficiently.

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.

Working effectively on your own and as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient café operations.

We have just launched a pop up cocktail bar as well so if you have cocktail experience that is a bonus!

Expected hours: Flexible (up to 30 hours per week) Schedule: Varies - Weekend and Event availability a plus
