Primary Teacher (SEMH)
Primary Teacher (SEMH) Hayes, West London £(Apply online only) per week (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications) Start date: SEPT 2025 We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join a specialist "Outstanding" SEMH school in Hayes from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and highly skilled team that makes a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs. About the School: This Ofsted-rated Outstanding school supports 106 pupils with EHCPs, predominantly for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many pupils also have ADHD, ASD and associated conditions. With small class sizes of around 8 pupils (with additional Year 6 support in preparation for SATs), the school provides a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. The Role: Full-time, long-term position (Monday to Friday, 8:15am–4:15pm) Start date: September 2025 (trials available immediately) Strong potential to become a permanent role Your Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs Foster a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment Use proven behaviour management strategies to support pupils with SEMH Work collaboratively with colleagues, therapists and families to ensure the best outcomes for every child What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential (strong UK classroom teaching experience essential) Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD and ASD A calm, resilient and adaptable approach in high-need environments Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What we offer As an ECT Special Needs Teacher and part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
