Nanny-Housekeeper
This family is looking for a dedicated and friendly Nanny/Housekeeper to join their warm, active household. They need someone who is organised, supportive, and happy to help maintain a clean, welcoming home environment. The role involves a mix of childcare and housekeeping, with flexibility to travel between the family’s multiple homes. The ideal candidate will be confident, proactive, and happy to muck in wherever needed, supporting Mum while Dad works away. A love for children, strong values, and a positive attitude are essential.
The position is Tuesday to Saturday, 40 hours per week, with two full childcare days (9am–6pm) and three flexible days (12pm–8pm) combining housekeeping and childcare support. Duties include school runs, supporting child development and routines, engaging the children in fun and active play, and occasional babysitting. Housekeeping includes laundry, ironing, and keeping shared spaces tidy. A confident driver is a must, and being sporty, energetic, and fluent in French or Spanish is a bonus. The role suits a younger candidate with an EU passport who is happy to travel regularly and truly become part of the family, while maintaining professional boundaries. General Duties
Household Support:
Wardrobe management and organization
Deep cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the home
General housekeeping including laundry, ironing, and maintaining clean, tidy shared spaces Childcare Responsibilities:
Create a stable, nurturing environment for the children
Support child development, manners, and upbringing
School/nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, escorting to classes and activities
Engage children with sports, games, and interactive play
Cook and bake with the children as part of daily routines
Assist with bath time and bedtime when needed
Occasional babysitting duties Candidate Requirements
Fluent in English (additional French or Spanish is a bonus)
Proactive, reliable, and confident in their role
Warm, friendly, and nurturing, with a strong understanding of boundaries
“Muck-in” attitude – ready to support in all areas of family life
Sporty, energetic, and enthusiastic
Confident driver
Flexible and willing to travel frequently between homes and abroad
Comfortable working alongside Mum, and capable of taking initiative when Dad is away
