Why Hertility? ❤️

Hertility was born out of a need for preventative, personalised and dedicated expert healthcare across a woman’s hormonal lifespan. Hertility’s at-home diagnostic testing, telemedicine, treatments, prescriptions, and clinical services provide advanced insights into reproductive health, fertility decline and the onset of menopause, as well as the diagnosis of 18 conditions. Hertility reduces diagnosis times for some conditions from nine years to six days.

Having done over 29 clinical studies and published in leading scientific journals and presented at over 25 National and International scientific and clinical conferences, Hertility is committed to expanding its research and clinical programmes, deepening our understanding of reproductive health and influencing policy.

By setting a new standard of scientific rigour and education in women’s health, we’re nurturing the Mother of all Movements. One powered by a new generation of women backing themselves, their bodies and their life choices, from menstruation through menopause.

Why You’ll Love This Role

As a People and Talent Associate you’ll play an integral role in our growing company. We’re seeking a talented and versatile person to join our People and Talent team. In this role, you’ll be a key team member in terms of supporting the recruitment and onboarding of all of our colleagues and shaping their employee journey throughout their time with Hertility. If you’re passionate about making a difference in women’s health, this role is for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the full employee life cycle starting with the recruitment of new team members.

  • Owning the recruitment process from job briefing to offer stage.

  • Onboarding new starters; ensuring they have a five star experience, including acting as a point of contact, sending merch and equipment, setting them up for success so that they are ready to run on day 1.

  • Supporting various teams in organising successful events; including providing merchandise, room bookings and admin support.

  • Ensuring that all colleagues have the necessary equipment.

  • Helping to organise team days, including finding appropriate dates, support in creating the agenda, booking cost efficient travel for colleagues and founders, finding a suitable venue, booking catering and following up with feedback.

  • Offboarding employees who leave the business.

  • Acting as a point of contact with some external suppliers, including our IT and Cyber Security provider and our HRIS and ATS providers for example.

  • Helping to create people related internal comms.

  • Managing our ATS system, Team Tailor and our HRIS system, Humaans and, if necessary, proactively researching new providers.

  • Ensuring the employee handbook is kept up to date.

  • Supporting the booking and arranging of travel, transport and accommodation when required.

  • General administrative tasks for the organisation, including preparing meeting agendas, research meetings and taking minutes if and when necessary. Distribute these minutes and follow up on any appropriate actions as required.

  • Being able and willing to pick up unexpected and new tasks as required.

  • All employees are required to work in alignment with Hertility’s Quality Management System and ensure their activities support compliance with ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) and ISO 27001 (ISMS), including following controlled processes, maintaining accurate records, and participating in required training.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive if you’re passionate about fertility and reproductive health and bring:

Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a People, HR or Talent role, ideally within a fast-growing or start-up environment. Experience supporting recruitment end-to-end, from briefing through to offer, is highly desirable.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to everything you do, whether that's maintaining accurate records in our HRIS, writing a job advert or processing payroll. You take pride in getting the details right.

Communication Skills: Confident written and verbal communicator who can engage warmly and professionally with candidates, new starters, suppliers and senior stakeholders alike. You know how to adapt your tone depending on your audience.

Collaborative Spirit: A natural team player who thrives in a cross functional environment. You're comfortable working with Finance, Founders and everyone in between and you proactively offer support wherever it's needed.

⚡ Proactive & Adaptable: You're energised by variety and don't need things to be perfectly defined before you get going. You're comfortable picking up unexpected tasks and finding solutions without being prompted.

️ Tech Savvy: Comfortable working across HR and recruitment platforms (experience with Humaans and/or Team Tailor is a bonus) as well as standard tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Zoom etc.

❤️ Passion for the Mission: A genuine interest in women's health, reproductive rights, and Hertility's mission to give every woman access to the healthcare she deserves.

DBS Check: Because this role involves handling sensitive and confidential information, successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check. Hertility will arrange and pay for this as part of the onboarding process.

Your Team

You will be working and reporting directly to our Head of People and Talent - Ali Hutcheson . You’ll also work closely with the Finance team and also be in regular contact with the wider team and the whole business including our Founders - this is a really integral and cross collaborative role meaning that you’ll work with our entire business!
