The Role

This is a strategic hire for the firm. You will have the opportunity to shape and lead the contentious IP practice. You will work closely with Partners across commercial, corporate, media and sports to capitalise on strong internal
referrals.

The work spans all aspects of contentious IP, including trademark and brand protection, copyright disputes, designs, patent litigation, breach of confidence and unfair competition matters. There is a particular focus on clients in the technology, fashion, creative and entertainment sectors.

This role would suit either a Partner or a strong Senior Associate who is ready for a step up and who wants to be part of building something exceptional.

Requirements

• You will be an experienced IP litigator with at least 10 years PQE
• Experience across the full spectrum of contentious IP, ideally including cross-border work
• A following is welcome but not essential. What matters more is drive, credibility and the ability to win and retain clients
• You will be commercially minded and enjoy working with entrepreneurial clients
• A team player who is excited by the chance to shape a growing practice
