The Role – Year 1 Teaching Assistant

In this full-time position, you will be supporting a Year 1 class, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. Your responsibilities will include helping with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities, as well as providing additional support to children who may need extra help, including those with SEND. You’ll also play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a nurturing learning environment.The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children in Key Stage 1, strong communication skills, and a proactive, caring approach to learning support.
