Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students, catering to varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Develop, modify, and implement curriculum materials to align with the school's standards and objectives.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and guidance to support their development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student participation and collaboration.
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental initiatives, such as curriculum planning and assessment moderation.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at the primary or secondary level.
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Innovative and creative approach to teaching, incorporating a variety of teaching methods and resources.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage time and resources.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of pedagogical practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.
